What is BullitoHonkey?

BullitoHonkey is a patch editor, librarian, and live performance tool for the Moog Minitaur™ analog bass synthesizer. The design of the user interface is optimized for real-time parameter manipulation of the hardware synth using a touch screen, but works equally well using a standard keyboard and mouse.

BullitoHonkey uses MIDI control change messages to load patches and tweak parameters; it is not dependent on a certain firmware version or additional third-party MIDI drivers to function. As a result, BullitoHonkey will work with your properly-functioning Minitaur™ regardless of firmware version; if an early version of firmware does not recognize a given command, it is simply ignored without any side effect.

Using BullitoHonkey, the 100-patch limit of the hardware unit can be overcome - BullitoHonkey can manage a virtually unlimited number of patches. Also, by utilizing the advanced MIDI routing features, you can control your Minitaur™ over standard MIDI DIN cables without the need for the USB connection.
